Supported formats and output
Upload MP4, MOV, M4V, MKV, AVI, WEBM, 3GP, MPEG, MTS, or TS video files. Browser preview works best for MP4, MOV, and WEBM, but manual start and end times are available for formats the browser cannot preview.
The output is always a clean MP4. If the input video has audio, the trimmed output keeps an audio track. If the video is silent, the output remains a silent MP4.

What if my browser cannot preview the video?
You can still enter the start and end times manually. Browser preview depends on the format and codec, but backend validation is the final check.
Will the trimmed video stay MP4?
Yes. Trim Video Online outputs a clean MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio when audio exists, so it works well for sharing.
Can I trim a video with no audio?
Yes. A silent video can still be trimmed as long as a readable video stream exists.
Are my videos kept private?
